Black Churches & the Eaton Fire The Eaton Fire impacted not only homes and businesses but also historic Black churches that have long served as the spiritual, cultural, and civic heart of the Altadena and Pasadena community. The Black Clergy & Civic Alliance (BCCA) is committed to ensuring that Black churches are not overlooked during the recovery and rebuilding process. We advocate for equitable resources, restoration funding, and the preservation of these vital institutions that have served generations through faith, leadership, and community service. When we rebuild our churches, we help rebuild our community.
